The Lord's Prayer

I thought that I would do something different today so here is "The Lord's Prayer" for my Irish/South African family in IRISH and ENGLISH

Ár nAthair

Ár nAthair, atá ar neamh: go naofar d'ainm.
Go dtaga do ríocht.
Go ndéantar do thoil ar talamh
mar a dhéantar ar neamh.
Ár n-arán laethúil tabhair dúinn inniu,
agus maith dúinn ár bhfiacha,
mar a mhaithimid dár bhféichiúnaithe féin.
Agus ná lig sinn i gcathú,
ach saor sinn ó olc.
Óir is leatsa an Ríocht agus an Chumhacht
agus an Ghlóir, trí shaol na saol

Áiméan.

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done on earth

as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread

and forgive us our trespasses

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom,

the power and the glory.

For ever and ever.

Amen.
